Our first anniversary

We had a good time celebrating our first anniversary together. I must say that it was really a relaxed time - a short getaway for me & hubby. We enjoyed the sumptuous Christmas buffet dinner and admiring the nice scenery overlooking clarke quay. Though we stayed in the suite, we got to count down to Christmas with the crowd at clarke quay. What a wonderful Christmas -except without a sip of red wine (little Ng might get drunk).

Going back to the hotel brings back lots of dad's memories to me. Last year on this very day, dad was happily witnessing the moment of marrying her daughter. Come to think of it, if the hotel wasn't having their suite renovation, I would have missed getting the extra 4 rooms for my parents & relatives and not to mention the wonderful time spent with dad & uncle. It's a God's gift for us.

Dear heavenly father, thank you for blessing and taking care of us all these while. We know you give us good days in providing us for our needs, guiding and helping us along this journey. Father, we may not understand why dad is taken away, but Father, we trust Your plan and Your decision. It is tough for anyone to go through this, but Father, pls lay Your hands on us. For when a door is close, a window is open. I pray for dad that You will bring him to Heaven and let us be reunited one day. We thank you and pray in Jesus most precious name. Amen!
